As regards the use of your contributions, Climate Austria applies a policy of maximum transparency and security throughout all phases, from the transfer of your contribution to the disbursement of your earmarked funds to the climate protection projects you have chosen to support.

Upon receipt by Kommunalkredit Public Consulting as the operational manager of Climate Austria, your contribution is booked to a separate escrow account, broken down by the amounts received for international and/or Austrian climate protection projects.

Your contributions to the climate protection projects will only be paid out after the projects have been successfully implemented. If it turns out, in retrospect, that the outcome of any of the climate protection projects supported by Climate Austria does not meet the original expectations, the projects concerned will be replaced by other qualified climate protection projects.

Having worked in partnership with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management for many years, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has gathered a wealth of experience regarding both the provision of financial support for Austrian and international climate protection projects and the holding in trust of public funds. This is reflected in its demonstrably high level of efficiency in the use of funds. Kommunalkredit Public Consulting will apply this high standard of efficiency to all its activities within the framework of Climate Austria, the objective being to keep administrative costs not directly attributable to climate protection projects as low as possible.
