About Climate Austria
Climate protection is becoming increasingly important in everyday life. Through Climate Austria you can make a voluntary contribution to climate protection. Your support will facilitate the implementation of Austrian and international climate protection projects.
CO2 emissions cannot be totally prevented, but unavoidable emissions can be offset by reducing emissions elsewhere. With your support for climate protection projects, you can offset the CO2 emissions you cause by making it possible to avoid CO2 emissions to the same extent. This process is known as CO2 compensation.
All participants receive a certificate for their contribution to climate protection.
Pursuing active climate protection means being aware of one's responsibility and making a personal contribution.
